Word of the Day

Last year, we did photo challenges and it was far too much stress and pressure; I could only take so much SKIPS and NO-POSTS before it starts chewing away mu sanity. So this year, I thought of doing Word of the Days (or WotDs…yeah) instead. The idea is just for us to i) look for any word that’s either intriguing, fun, or new, ii) check the Merriam-Webster dictionary app for its meaning, and iii) post both the word and its meaning here just for the heck of it. And, since this is a photography blog, we’ll be accompanying it with a photo; just any random photo BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A FUDGING PHOTO CHALLENGE.

With that said, here’s the first find:

Quash

verb

: to nullify especially by judicial action.

: to suppress or extinguish summarily and completely.

Yay for fun!
